Bio and it's level of thoughness

So today, first day back from winterbreak, I walk into my Bio class 3rd period - desks rearanged, crowded class, mysterious notebooks on the table. I knew what this was, it was the first day of "The Amgen Lab" . The Amgen Lab is the semester final basically, and it is a series of labs that we do over about 22 days (I think). All of the equipment that we use (most of it) was donated by Amgen. I am very afraid I'm going to mess something up very very bad in that class. I already only have a B, that last thing I need to do in that class is break a $200 dollar pipette or spill my DNA and accidently infuse it to the desk =\. I can see it now. I can see it now.
"Mr. Erickson, uh... -" , says I.
"OH GOD! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! YOUR DNA IS ALL OVER THE DESK! FOR THE LOVE OF MANKIND ARE YOU INSANE?!??!?!?! " , exclaims Erickson.
"I had no idea!!!"

If that were to happen, it'd probably be worse than that. Sheesh.

Anyways, day 1 of the "Amgen Lab", we extracted our own DNA from our cheek cells and we put them into a tube with Chylex (Spelling?) and then put them in these fancy machines donated by Amgen. After that, we used the pipettes and did some other less important stuff.

w00t, christmas was cool!

I got my unicycle that I wanted (Nimbus X)
I also got a lot of money! 175 dollars in cash and 100 in best buy gift certificates which I plan to spend on a new set of headphones and a 3 - 4 MP Digital Camera =D . I got some new pants, and I also got some new shirts =). Merry christmas everyone.

Second, my iPod is totally pimped. I installed iPod linux and now I am playing Doom one and two on it! I can also watch videos and it's not even an iPod video! It rocks!Heh, once I get my digital camera, I'll take some pics and videos and post them =D . For now, here's what Doom looks like on an iPod photo.

Well, I don't actually want much this year for christmas. So far, I really only want that unicycle =P. But....I geuss I'll post my DREAM computer that I wish I could have, but most likely never will until I move out and get a highpaying job.

Fiona and Andrew drove from Town M to Town N at 90km/h and 120km/h respectively. Andrew left Town M 3 hours later than Fiona. However, they reached Town N at the same time. On his return jounrney, Andrew reduced his speed by 20km/h. How much longer did he take to reach Town M on his way back?

Jeeze, I feel like shit right now. I have a head ache, a cough, and stomach pain. Or maybe I'm just paranoid and it's all in my head. Oh well. The only thing I think that's "in my head" right now is a painful headache. I wish I didn't have so many tests tommorow (actually, one spanish quiz, and a math test). AND it sucks that those two period aren't my first two. Spanish is my first and Geometry is my 5th period (out of 7). So by the time I finished my geometry quiz I would be at lunch - and who wants to leave at lunch? Sheesh, I hope this sickness stays till thursday..or possibly all of the way till next tuesday night, then I get a VERY long time off of school(Because we have off wednesday through the monday after). Anyways, I'm leaving now. Bye bye.

Well I'm going to have a full week of school this week (haha, that's weird saying that. It seems our generation hardly ever has a full week of school). Lately I have been finding school more and more boring and tedious every day. But still, I am getting decent grades. My lowest grade is a B- in english, my native language. Oh well, I'm not one for words). I have a B+ in Bio H. also. I have been getting better grades in that, though. I just wish mr. erickson would update edline more. I have A's in the rest of my classes, which reminds me: I hate just about every kid in my geometry class. None of them have realised that geometry is not math, it's algebgra with words, shapes, and definitions. I'm pretty sure I have the highest grade in my class. Everyone in that class is just so stupid. Even worse, half of the class are football players. Did I mention that I have a strong dislike for football players? Yeah. Just about every single one. Especially freshman football players. They think they are the shit just because they are on the football team. Well get this - they had to let you play. Yeah, it's true. Jackasses. On the other hand, I am a little sick. Hopefully it will get me some time off of school. School just gets worse and worse every day. Grr...K, well I'm gone. See ya.

So the other day I'm at school right, I'm in the library on the computer (doing things I geuss I'm not supposed to be doing) , so the librarian comes up to me and tells me I can't use the internet for the rest of the year. I went to the office the next day (got called in) and now for the rest of the year I am not allowed to plug in any external device (like an iPod or USB Drive) and I am not allowed to use the internet at school. Wahoo!

Also, on that same day, another story came about. So me and my friends are walking around school, and we decide to go behind building 4 (The building with the library [where I got my internet privaledges taken away] ), and we're going to go behind the building. My friend turns the corner, turns around and walks away really fast. I wonder what is going on, so I go and check. As a turn the corner, this dude sees me and is SHOCKED! I turn the corner just as he realizes he got caught and is rushing to get his pants on! Holy crap! Sucks to be him! He just got owned!

125 Hours and Finally...

I beat Guild Wars. Wahoo! I was so happy when I beat it. Anyways...onto other things. I have come to the conclusion that just about everyone in my geometry class is half retarded. Oh, and also, cross country is coming to an end soon. The Ventura County Championships are on friday and I hope I do good. I hope I don't get out of shape after cross country -_-. And on another note, I, Adam White, am in desperate need of a PSP so I started the Adam White PSP Foundation, where I openly accept donations untill I reach 300 dollars (Enough for the PSP + warranty). If you want to make a donation, please tell me..=D. Another thing that has been making me sort of angry lately, is that so many people eat macaroni and cheese with a fork, even though it is clear that the utensil for optimum performence would be the spoon. The spoon has a curved architecture allowing the most macaroni to stay on the utensil. Also, out of all of the people I surveyed, only a few of them actually eat it with a spoon. These people all are in honors classes, they are smarter, and they have higher GPA's then the people that eat it with forks. Therefore, my conclusion is that brilliant minds eat macaroni and cheese with a spoon. So anyways, that's how it's been. Sorry for not posting in a LONG time.

The Fox Network. It is a TV network ran by complete IDIOTS! What's with all the come-and-go TV series? Excluding That 70's Show, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and King of the Hill, how many shows have actually succeeded in being on air for over a year? Fox seriously needs to reconsider their strategies. It seems every other week the Fox Network comes out with a new "Prime Time" television show that's hip with the kids. I see all of this
"[insert crappy magazine here] calls [insert new prime time hit show here]all the rage! It's a new hit show!" and maybe a month later it's cancelled! There must have been at least 10 new shows last year that nobody even remembers! It seems that every Fox show is all the rage. But is it true? NO! Why do you think they get cancelled so fast? Well here's a hint FOX, it's been done before! Nobody wants you to waste Prime Time TV with crap like "Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy!" (Which, by the way, is a rip off on the Dave Chappelle skit). The Fox Network has done many stupid things over the years, but the stupidest thing by far, was cancelling "Family Guy" a few years back (I know it's back on the air, so shut up). You get one good show and decide to cancel it for a mass amount of one-timer prime time shows. Adult Swim on CTN > Fox.

AIM. Want to know what I freakin' hate about AIM? People who constantly ask you things like "Are you there?". Sometimes they even have the nerve to spell it "R U THER MAN??". Here's news for you - some people don't sit at their computer looking at the IM box all day, k? We do things like write rants about kids like you (ha ha), read articles on the internet, and do other busy things. Now seriously, all of you who say that, rethink your life. (Or you can just stop doing that to people).

Free Postage. Well this one here is like killing two birds with one stone, at no cost! Do you hate spending money on postage? Do you hate getting junk mail? Well, now you have the oppurtunity to only hate one! When most junk mail is mailed to you, it comes with a fancy "Business Reply Mail" card. This is the key to free postage. All you have to do is get a sticky label, write the address you're sending it to, then cover over the businesses shipping address. It's that easy! I have yet to try this, but it seems like a pretty logical theorie, correct? Right. Ok, now go send stuff for free!

Don't get me wrong, I love the site. I may not like as much as I used too, well, as much as I did the day before yesterday. As I was browsing the pages of rottentomatoes, I came across the "Best Movies of All Time" list. I said "Hey, this looks pretty cool, I'll check it out.". I couldn't be more disapointed =(. I scrolled down the first part of the page, and there it is. Toy Story 2. Number 1. Is it me or is that jacked up? Did someone cheat the system? It must have been. I looked, and sure enough, nobody cheated the system. It's times like this I sit and wonder, "What has the world come to?". Toy Story 2 wasn't even going to be a theatrical release. That's right. Straight to video. Although, Disney and Pixar agreed for one more theatrical release, but the only movie they had ready as Toy Story 2. Now what if that movie was straight to DVD? I'm sure that it WOULD NOT have been in the top 100. Do Ebert & Ropert even rate straight to video releases? For all you curious cats that think by some chance I could be lying, here's the link for yourself.

I can see why most people like it, but why aren't any classic movies in the top 100? I mean movies like Breakfast Club, Ferris Buelers Day Off, Pulp Fiction...they're nowhere in site =(. Oh well.

On a lighter note, have you noticed the title of my blog is "Adam White Hates Everything Except the Things He Doesn't" ? Well, what exactly don't I hate? Well, to make a long answer short, I don't hate a lot of things =). And...to make a short answer of a long answer longer, I specifficly like blogging, computers, videogames(Counter-Strike, Fable, Half-Life, etc...), I absolutly LOVE movies (except the ones I hate =P), to name a few movies, I like the enter Star Wars series(excluding 1+2), Pulp Fiction, Reservior Dogs, True Romance, Kill Bill Vol. 1+2 (as you can probably tell, I'm a Tarantino fan)...ah..there's just so many. I run cross country, and I also play hockey (My team is in 1st and I am 4th place out of all the players). Oh, and yes, I also like ranting. (Ranting is a sort of weird thing to like, I mean, you're complaining about things you DON'T like, so does talk about things you don't like make you not like talking about things you don't like?). I could rant days on end. I could even rant about the things I like.

Have any of you been watching some recent commercials (mainly coke and pepsi) ? They're are the most retarded commercials. I saw a pepsi commercial with two guys playing baseball and there was a pepsi on a stool, and they would hit the baseballs and break glass. What's the pepsi there for? What the hell? And there's this other commercial for Coke, where the kids are making a documentery, and at the VERY END of the commercial, there is a short message, "Buy coke" (I don't think that's exactly it, but you get my drift.) . There was also a car commercial I saw, where it was saying how your kids would grow up and do the same things with their kids, then it says "In the meantime, BUY AN SUV!". Seriously, why can't there be any commercials that pursuade you to buy the advertised product?

REQUIREMENTS OF A GOOD COMMERCIAL:

1. Say why you product is good, why they should buy it.

2. Maybe include something funny ?

3. Don't talk about shit that doesn't make sense

AIM Lingo / Hilarious Myspace

AIM Lingo....what the hell. I mean seriously, what's the deal? You have all these crazy acronyms that you have to remember, it's like learning another language. There is probably more than 50 acronyms you would have to take the time to remember, when all in the end, it's just a few keystrokes. Seriously, is 'lol' that much easier to type than "hahaha"? Is "brb" that much harder to type than "hold on" ? Is "g2g" REALLY that much harder to type that "gotta go"? Also, some of the ways some people talk is just....retarded. In some cases, morons intentionally mispell words, while using the same ammount of keystrokes, to make the same word. For example, Kewl, Kool, Cewl. What's the difference? Cool. I geuss people just think it's easier because you type all of those with the same hand (excluding 'cewl'). If you want to see some idiotic typing, check out the next two myspace links.

Ok well I just found the two funniest myspaces in the history of the planet. At first I didn't think a real myspace that could be this funny was possible, but I was proven wrong. The 'spaces speak for themselves.

On another note, the same guy who got them to rate GTA: San Andreas AO, is going the same way for the Sims 2, but this time nobody seems to be agreeing with him. There is a cheat in the Sims 2 to remove the blur from the naked Sims, and in his view, he sees this as "practice for pedophiles" to practice their techniques, when ofcourse it isn't. They're not even naked, they're like Ken & Barbie.

Ok, so just about everyone has a myspace, it's the new thing. For the most part, I like myspace, but some things people do are just retarded.

1. Nobody wants to "CoMmEnT oN uR nOo pIxX" , so don't tell people to.
2. Posting comments like "dam girl, u r s0 fine, we shood hang out sumtime n hav sum fun girl", on a decent picture of a girl, is not going to get you laid. Stop trying and die.
3. Chain letters like "TOM IZ GOING TO DELETE MYSPACE OMG!" does not help, Tom doesn't care and it just takes up space on the server making it worse for everyone else.
4. What's with the display names? I mean c'mon your real name CAN'T be "--~~:.:. dat 1 girl .:.:~~--".
5. Don't put pictures of you flashing god damn gang signs, you're not a gangster, you're a stupid white kid.
6. Gangster's don't have myspaces.
7. What's with every "tough guy" and having a picture of the middle finger? It makes you look retarded.

GTA : SA....AO?

Ok, San Andreas is now rated AO because of the new "hot coffee" mod =\ . Politicions found out about this "hot coffee" mod and refused to listen to rockstar. The politicions demanded the game be rated AO because of this mod, even though the only way to play it is to actually download the mod, it is not even playable in the retail version of the game. And c'mon, AO? There isn't a big difference between M and AO anyways.

M: Game should not be played by anyone under 17
AO: Game should not be played by anyone under 18

Now, what does this mean for Rockstar games? Well, they will most definitly not be making as much money. C'mon, hardly any adults actually buy, or even have the time to play video games. Rockstars target audience is now unavailable to buy the game. Many stores such as Best Buy and Wal Mart, refuse to carry AO games, so the game will not be sold at many video game stores.

The ultimate question, will Rockstar Games begin to take it down a notch or push the envelope even farther?

As for me, I'm in the process of making a fake ID. I look 18 right? Hey...atleast my whiskers are coming in =P

EDIT: Oh, and as for anyone who doesn't know what the "hot coffee" mod is, it's a mod for the PC version of the game that allows you to have sex with your girlfriend once you get 100% with her

Ok after my hockey game, around 1 : 00 , Doug and Wade came over. We went to the shopping center and it was pretty sweet because I had found some firecrackers on the way down. We went to Taco Bell and I got 4 tacos ;) . Then I got a donut from E.T. Donuts . We were there with Kelsey, Danika, and Kaitlin and we had Kelsey buy us matches so we could light the fire crackers. I forgot to post about it so I made a new post, but today as me and my friends were walking in the shopping center, we saw this skateboard so we hid it. These two unmentioned biker kids came and then snapped the kids skateboard so we ran like hell. We come back about 15 minutes later and the kid and his little gang are standing there and he's yelling at us because he thinks we broke it (which we didn't) We kept telling him and telling him, but he kept being a whiny little bitch. It went something like this...
"DUDE YOU GUYS BROKE MY SKATEBOARD"
"Dude, no we didn't, it was these two kids"
"NO I SAWLL YOU! I SAWLL YOU DO IT!"
"We didn't break your god damn skateboard, and you couldn't have seen because you were in the god damn idiot center (he was in a learning center)"

after about ten minutes of mindless arguing, we finally just left, but oh man that kid was pissing me off!
